When it comes to using dance journaling prompts, there is no right or wrong way to use them. If you find a dance journaling strategy or routine that works best for you, I recommend sticking with that.
However, there are some practices that will help you get the most out of journaling to develop dance confidence.
For your journaling sessions with these prompts, try to set aside at least five minutes of uninterrupted time to focus and really write out your thoughts. Then, choose 1-3 prompts to respond to for your journaling session. Don’t focus on having the perfect answer; just make sure it is authentic and true to you.
